Our Dermatologists are all highly qualified specialists who have obtained Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, the peak body for the training of doctors who specialise exclusively in the treatment of skin conditions.

Our expertise includes the management of acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin allergies, hair and nail problems, excessive sweating, genital rashes, moles and skin cancers, and cosmetic dermatology.

DR KAMAL SANDHU

Dr Kamal Sandhu is an experienced general dermatologist who obtained her initial training in Chandigarh, India, before gaining her Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatogists.  She has a broad interest in general dermatology including inflammatory and pigmentary skin disorders and skin cancers. She has an interest in the treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating of the skin) and as a Visiting Consultant she runs a clinic for this condition at the Skin Health Institute.

Dr Kamal Sandhu

DR ADAM SHERIDAN

Dr Adam Sheridan is a dermatologist with a special interest in skin surgery and laser therapy.  He is qualified in the use of Mohs micrographic surgery, an advanced technique for the removal of certain types of skin cancer.  As a director of Phoenix Dermatology he provides expertise in the use of laser and light devices for the treatment of acne scarring, rosacea, photodamage and skin rejuvenation.  He is a Visiting Consultant at the Alfred Hospital and the Skin Health Institute.

DR JACINTA OPIE

Dr Jacinta Opie is a general dermatologist with experience in treating a wide range of skin conditions.  She is a Visiting Consultant at Austin Health and at the Mercy Hospital for Women where she attends the Vulval Diseases Clinic. As an expert in skin conditions relating to women’s health she provides a welcoming and professional service for her patients.

DR SARAH HANNAM

Dr Sarah Hannam is a general dermatologist who moved to Melbourne from Adelaide to undertake her training in dermatology that included a year spent at the University College Hospital in the UK.  She has a special interest in the treatment of acne, psoriasis, scars and pigmentation of the skin. She is a Visiting Consultant at the Alfred, St Vincent’s and Royal Children’s Hospitals and the Skin Health Institute.

DR NIYATI SHARMA

Dr Niyati Sharma is a general dermatologist who recently returned from the USA where she obtained a Fellowship in Paediatric Dermatology at the Ann & Robert Lurie Childern’s Hospital and a Masters of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Univerity in the USA.  She has a broad interest in the treatment of skin conditions in both adults and children and is a Visiting Consultant at Monash Health and the Skin Health Institute.

Dr Niyati Sharma

DR FRIYANA BHABHA

Dr Friyana Bhabha is a general dermatologist who trained at several major hospitals in Melbourne and Hobart following her basic training as a physician.  She has interests in the management of acne, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema and as a Visiting Consultant at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre she has expertise in the treatment of all forms of skin cancer.

Dr Friyana Bhabha

DR AARON ROBINSON

Dr Aaron Robinson is a general dermatologist who completed a PhD at the University of Adelaide and postdoctoral studies at the Walter and Eliza Institute before obtaining his College Fellowship. He has an interest in skin cancer and inflammatory disorders including psoriasis, eczema, urticaria and alopecia areata. He is a Visiting Consultant at St Vincent’s Hospital, the Northern Hospital and the Skin Health Institute where he attends the Transplant and Skin Cancer assessment clinic.

DR JANE LI

Dr Jane Li is a general dermatologist who completed a PhD at the University of Melbourne on skin immunity and alopecia areata before graduating with several awards as a Fellow of the College of Dermatologists. She has interests in a wide range of conditions including skin cancer, women’s dermatology, paediatric dermatology and hair loss. She is a Visiting Consultant at St Vincent’s Hospital and the Skin Health Institute and is a speaker of Mandarin.
