North Western Dermatology (NWD) is a specialist medical practice located near the picturesque Queens Park in Moonee Ponds. We offer comprehensive services that reflect the full scope of dermatology, one of the broadest areas of medicine.
Dermatologists manage everything from rashes in infants to the surgical removal of skin cancers in the elderly. We perform onsite allergy testing and provide treatments for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Dermatologists prescribe highly-effective, specialist-only medications for conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and hives. Vitiligo is treated with phototherapy and the use of camouflage products. We also specialise in treating hair and nail conditions.
Cosmetic dermatology is another key focus of our practice. Utilising lasers and other advanced devices and techniques, we aim to restore your skin to a more youthful appearance.
Established in 2006 by Associate Professor Adrian Mar, NWD is proud to be the site where some of Australia’s leading Dermatologists practise.
Our clinic and services have expanded to meet the growing needs of Melbourne’s northwestern suburbs and the surrounding communities. We offer a telehealth service, Digital Dermatology, that provides the convenience of a consultation with a Dermatologist from anywhere in Australia. Our onsite Skin Cancer Clinic enables rapid access for those requiring skin checks or treatment of skin cancers.
